Dr. Jacks divides his time between office-based patient care (90%) and hospital-based patient care (10%). Office procedures include minor oral and facial surgery. Whereas, hospital obligations are focused patient care in the Emergency Room, major surgeries in the Operating Room, patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and inpatients on the ward.
Procedures that can be performed with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, or intravenous sedation are accomplished in one of Dr. Jacks's five state-of-the-art operatories within his office. Procedures requiring true general anesthesia via a breathing tube are performed in the Operating Room at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at Riverbend.
